My Wii

Papa and Mama bought me a Wii for my birthday. My birthday is next week but they already bought my present because we will not be in Singapore during my birthday. The Wii is like Papa's PS3, but it's white, the PS3 is black. And the Wii makes me move a lot when I play.

Yesterday, Papa taught me how to play bowling in Wii. I have so much fun playing Wii bowling. My highest score is 152. At first I don't know how to throw the ball but Papa taught me how to do it.

Tomorrow, we will ride the airplane again to go to Australia. Papa and Mama bought a new jacket for me because they said it is very cold in Australia.

I have to sleep now because I need to wake up early tomorrow.

Dora the Explorer in Expo

This morning we went to Expo to watch Dora the Explorer sing and dance. The title of the show is Dora's Pirate Adventure. It's about a treasure chest that the pirate piggies stole from Dora and her friends. The treasure chest has all the things Dora and her friends need to have a pirate party.
Diego is also there to help Dora and her friends get the treasure chest back from the pirate piggies.


I saw Dora, the map, backpack, Diego, Boots the monkey, Swiper, Isa the iguana, Tico the squirrel, and a lot more of Dora's friends.


After the show, we went to Parkway Parade to have lunch then I had a haircut after lunch. I was already very sleepy so I asked papa to carry me.

My Fish

Two months ago Ninong Marvin set up my aquarium. Ninong Marvin gave us the tank and the rest of the things needed. Mama bought the stand and some fish. I have 2 oscars, 3 parrots, and 1 janitor fish. But papa said that Tita Jeng said the fish are going to be too big for the tank someday. We also noticed that the fish have grown big already. So papa decided to give the fish away to Ninong Marvin because he has a bigger tank in his house. Then papa said we will buy smaller fish with nice colors.

Last Saturday, Ninong Marvin took the fish away and yesterday we bought 15 small fish. Papa said the fish are called Cardinal Tetras. The fish have nice colors, it's colored blue (I think it's blue) at the top and red at the bottom.

Happy Mother's Day, Mama!

Today is Mother's Day. We didn't do anything much in the morning because mama had to go the office to work. Papa and I stayed at home. We had lasagna for lunch which mama baked yesterday. We also called mommy and ninang in the Philippines to say Happy Mother's Day. Last Friday, I gave mama something I made in school. It's a yellow heart-shaped paper with the words "I (heart)love U". I made this in school to give mama on Mother's Day.

Tonight, we had dinner at Tony Roma's in Suntec City. Mama had shrimp and ribs and papa had ribs also. I had orange juice, french fries, bread, and mushroom soup.

My name

I did not go to school today. Papa also did not go to the office. Papa said I need to rest because my nose is sick. I want to draw my name using different colors and call it my 'rainbow name'.

I also changed my template so my 'rainbow name' will look nice.

I will draw some more.

I'm a big boy.

Yesterday, I carried my bag like papa. I don't want to pull my bag anymore because I'm a big boy and N2 already. My teacher helped me put my bag on my back when papa came to pick me up from school.

Papa said there is no school tomorrow. But I will go back to school on Monday again.

"Pampers are for babies"

Yesterday, papa and I bought my first set of briefs. I told papa and mama that I am not wearing pampers anymore because 'pampers are for babies.' I am already a big boy. I wanted a Buzz Light Year briefs but all we can find are Superman and Batman. I also like Superman so papa bought me both Superman and Batman.

From now on, I am not wearing pampers in the house and at school. Sometimes papa asks me to wear pampers when we go to the mall because it's not easy to find a toilet anywhere.

At night, I would wake up papa to help me go to the toilet so I would not wet my bed.

This morning I wore a gray Batman brief to school. Papa said to remind my teacher to put the brief back in my bag after taking my bath.

It's Friday today, I think I'll ask papa to buy a toy.

It's papa's birthday

Today is papa's birthday. Mama and I sang 'happy birthday papa' this morning. Papa only have a small cake but we still put a candle on it and sing to papa. We also don't have any 'presents' for papa so I decided to make one to give to him. I cut a square from my 'purple paper' to draw papa's face and write his name at the bottom. I said 'happy birthday' again to papa and gave my 'present'. Papa said thank you and it was very nice.


Mama said my birthday is in June and mama's name is in September. So I decided to make presents for mama and myself also.


We had dinner at the airport. The airport has a new building. Papa and mama call it Terminal 3. The airport is very nice. We had rice and vegetables at the Crystal Jade restaurant inside the airport. After dinner, I asked papa and mama to buy me a small toy. I bought a new Thomas the train set. Then we drive home because papa said he wants to watch 'American Idol'.

Back to school again

I went back to school again this morning. Papa and mama said Christmas is finished already. I did not go to school for more than one week because Ninong, Ninang, Ate Trina, and Kuya Cholo came to Singapore for a vacation. We were very busy going around Singapore. We went to the Singapore Zoo, Merlion, Cable Car, and shopping malls. Kuya Cholo and I bought some toys. The Zoo is 'very nice'. I saw a lot of 'animals'. I also like the cable car, the cable car goes 'up and away'.

We also went to a 4D movie. It was a pirate movie. I was 'scared' because there are bees and air and water are going to my face.

I had a lot of fun during my one week vacation but Papa said Ninong and Ninang have to go to office and Kuya Cholo and Ate Trina will go to school. I also need to go back to school because Papa and Mama are going back to office. Papa said next time we will go to the 'Philippines' to see 'everybody' again.

My last day in N1

Papam said today is my last day in Nursery 1 (N1). Starting Monday (December 3), I will be in Nursery 2 (N2). I heard papam talking to Ms. Chua this afternoon asking if all my friends in N1 will also be N2 on Monday. Ms. Chua said yes and that she will be our teacher. My other teacher in N2 will be Teacher Zhou.

I showed papam the white candy given to me by Ms. Chua in my blue bag. I finished eating the candy while papam helped me put on my shoes. We went to mama's office then we went to Parkway Parade so papam can get a haircut. I also had a haircut. After getting our haircut, we had dinner at Swensen's. I ate pizza like papam and apple juice.

Graduation Concert

Yesterday was my pre-school's Graduation Concert for all graduating K2 (Kinder 2) students of The Orange Tree Preschool. The concert is in the evening and the teacher said we still have to go to school in the morning. The concert will be at a "nice house" in the city. I heard papam said to mama that the place is called DBS Auditorium which is very far from my school. Papam sent me to school in the morning. Mama and papam did not go to the office yesterday so they can make sure that they are not late for the concert. They need to be at the "nice house" by 6 pm, the concert will start at 7 pm and will end by 9 pm. I will go to the "nice house" together with my "friends" and "teachers".

My teachers did not allow taking pictures during the program. But papam was able to take videos of my performance. My first dance is Hawaiian with my friends in N1 (Nursery 1) and PG (Play Group). My second dance is Indian with my friends in N1 and N2 (Nursery 2). Papam and mama ordered pictures taken by the official photographer. Papam said they will get the pictures after 2 weeks.

There were many people watching us. I was surprised to see many people but I still danced anyway.

After the concert, we went to Suntec City to eat dinner. I had soup, bread, and orange juice. I was very tired and fell asleep in the car on the way home.

Sorry from Amex

Papam and mama received another mail from Krisflyer Amex. This time the letter was addressed to the Guardian of Kristian. I don't really know what's inside because I don't know how to read yet. But I heard papam and mama talking that the letter was about Krisflyer Amex saying sorry that they sent me the letter a few weeks ago to apply for a Krisflyer Amex Platinum credit card. They said it was some kind of computer error and that they have a policy not to send those letters to people below 18 years old (or is it 21?).

Anyway, no harm done and it was nice for Amex to send a sorry letter. I hope they send one again when I'm old enough and know how to sign already.

Krisflyer Amex

Last night, mama took the mails out of from our mailbox and there was one addressed to my name. The mail came from Amex cards. Mama took several second looks at the name on the envelope because she couldn't believe that it's for me.

Inside the envelope were documents for me to sign to apply for a Platinum Krisflyer Amex credit card. I don't know what these people from Amex are thinking, maybe they thought I'm not a 3 year old boy. But it will be good for me to have my own credit card so I can always go to Toys R' Us and buy toys. But I don't know how to sign yet. I don't even know how to spell my name, all I know is that my name starts with the letter 'K'.

Big Balloon

Last week mama brought home 2 balloons with no air inside yet. She said the 2 balloons are 'very big balloons.' The 2 balloons have colors yellow and orange. I told papam to put air in the orange one. Papam took a very long time to finish putting air in the balloon. It must have taken him around 30 minutes. Papam was complaining that the pump is too small.

The balloon is as big as me. Mama said it could be bigger. Below are my pictures with the big orange balloon.

Hi-5 in Expo

Last Saturday, I watched Hi-5 live in Expo. The show will start at 4 pm so we have to leave the house before 3 pm because we need to pick up Micah, Ninang Bheng and Ninong from their house. We left Ninang Bheng's house before 3:30 pm to meet with Trisha, Tita Teena, and Tito Gilbert at Expo. We will all be watching Hi-5 at 4 pm. I was already feeling sleepy but I have to stay awake until the end of the show. Mama bought a Hi-5 DVD and Jupjup toy before we go in to watch. I also have to sit on a 'brown rectangle' so I can sit higher and see Hi-5.


I saw Charlie, Nathan, and Kellie. But Kathleen and Tim were not there. Papam said they might be sick so they couldn't come to Singapore. Kathleen and Tim were replaced by Sun and Stevie. They were also good like Kathleen and Tim. I also saw Jupjup and Chats. The show was about a travelling circus, Charlie was a dancer, Kellie was a tight rope walker, and Nathan was a strong man. I forgot what Sun and Stevie were, but it was fun to watch them 'sing and dance' live in Expo.


Then there was a 20 minutes break. Papam said Hi-5 have to rest because they are already tired from singing and dancing. After the break, we saw Hi-5 again and they don't look tired anymore.


Micah fell asleep during the second part of the show. I guess she was already very sleepy. But I stayed awake until the show is finished. After the show, mama bought a Hi-5 balloon. Micah and Trisha also bought Hi-5 balloons.


We were supposed to have dinner at Ninang Bheng's house but I already fell asleep in the car on the way to Ninang's house.

2 more days to go

Only 2 more days to go before I watch 'Hi-5 in Expo'. Papam said we will go and watch Hi-5 on Saturday. He asked me to count 1-2-3 from today. When I reach 3, that means it's time to watch Hi-5. So today is 1, tomorrow is 2 and 3 is Saturday. I am very excited to watch Hi-5. The other day we went to the John Little Mega Expo sale also in Expo, and I saw a lot of kids with Hi-5 balloons. Papam said we will not yet buy the Hi-5 balloon and toys because we haven't watched Hi-5 yet. But he said we will buy the Hi-5 balloon and toys after we watch Hi-5 on Saturday. When we got back to the house, mama took out my old Hi-5 balloon and put some air in it. So I play with this Hi-5 balloon for now until I get a a new one on Saturday.

Ride big yellow balloon next week

This morning was our school's excursion to ride the big yellow balloon, bus and boat. Papam and I took a taxi to go to school, we were supposed to be in my school before 8:30 am. We arrived at the school before 9:00 am but the teacher said we were supposed to leave at 9:30 so papam had to wait outside the school. We left the school at 9:30 and 'ride the grey bus' to go to the balloon and boat. All of us in pre-school are wearing an ID but with only the school's name, address and telephone number written on it.


I was so excited to ride the 'grey bus.' The bus took us to Suntec City where we would ride the boat. I didn't see any boat but I saw a bus that looks like a boat. There were other buses that look like boats but they have different 'colors.' Papam said we will ride this boat-looking bus and will take us to the water. I'm not sure what papam meant because how would a bus with 'wheels' go to water.


When the bus-boat started to move, there was a tour guide with 'mic' and 2 captains driving the boat-bus. The tour guide said one captain is to drive the bus on land and the other to drive the boat on water. We then ride the bus-boat to a place where it can go to the water. I was surprised when suddenly the bus is on water and now we're riding a boat. We ride the boat around the Singapore river. I saw trees, buildings, and other boats like ours.


I also saw the big ferris wheel. The tour guide said that it is going to be the biggest ferris wheel in the world. The current biggest ferris wheel is the 'London Eye'. I don't know where the 'London Eye' is but maybe it's near the water also. The Singapore ferris wheel is called the 'Singapore Flyer'. The tour guide said one capsule in the Singapore Flyer can hold around 30 people. It will be 15 meters higher than the London Eye.


Then I saw the 'Lion Fish'. Papam said it's name is Merlion. The Merlion is Singapore's tourism icon. It is upper half lion and lower half fish. I also saw a long bridge.


After one round in the Singapore river, the boat went back to land and now we are riding a bus. I didn't know that this bus can change to a boat then change back to a bus again. Now we are riding a bus on land. Papam is saying that this is amphibious. I don't know what the word means so I just said 'ok.'

After the bus ride, we want back to Suntec City to have lunch. It was already raining at that time so my teacher said we cannot ride the big balloon. Papam said, the teacher gave us a paper that we can use to ride the balloon maybe next week. Papam said it is raining so the balloon is wet and cannot fly. I told papam it's ok so they can 'clean' the balloon first. The teacher said we are going to have an early lunch because there is no more balloon ride today. We are going to have lunch at McDonald's. The teacher said she has to go to McDonald's first so she asked us to wait. My classmates and I (and some teachers) sat on the floor while waiting for the teacher.


At McDonald's, I had some chicken nuggets, fries and Milo. Papam had chicken burger and coke. After lunch we waited for the 'grey bus' again to take us back to school. Papam said I have to go back to school with my friends and he'll be coming later to pick me up.


I fell asleep at the bus before we arrive at the school. Papam has to carry me to school and papam let my teacher carry me inside the school to sleep. I hope there is no more rain next week so papam and I can go ride the big yellow balloon.
